Role	: We currently seek a UK Finance Manager to manage the Finance team and cover all the Financial Accounting activities for the Business. To be considered, it is essential that you have trained and qualified in Practice before progressing into Industry. Reporting to the UK Financial Controller with 3 direct reports and 5 indirect reports, you will actively manage a team and motivate them to succeed. Main Objectives: - Manage Finance team and ensure all objectives are met - Ensure financial accuracy, control and integrity of month end accounts - Lead the completion and support all internal and external audits - Identify internal controls and actively implement changes The role specifically includes: - Finance department management - Month end - Weekly overhead cost tracker - Ad hoc finance projects - Support the implementation of SAP Skills/Qualifications/Experience required: - ACA or ACCA Qualified with extensive relevant PQE - Big4/Mid tier Practice background with both audit and tax experience - Proven experience of working in a busy financial accounting team in a large organisation - Proven Management experience - Technically strong with IFRS - Strong Internal Control perspective / implement improvements - Advanced Excel skills This role is identified as the successor to the UK Financial Controller, so it is imperative that you have the ambition to progress.
