: The successful Sales Team Manager will have at least 3 years new business sales experience and a strong understanding of the Financial Markets, in particular the Capital Markets. Experience of selling Online Business Information within the Financial sector is desired, although exceptional top performers will be considered if you can demonstrate successful experience in selling high-ticket solutions into Senior level decision makers within the Financial Markets. You will demonstrate an excellent academic track record and will have achieved a minimum of a 2:1 degree in a Business related discipline, for example Economics, International Business, Finance or Politics. The ideal Sales Team Manager will have an excellent level of commercial gravitas when selling and pitching to Senior Level decision makers within the Financial sector and will be tenacious, money hungry and driven in their sales approach. Knowledge of the current market space and impacting factors that affect the market is also essential. This position would be ideal for a candidate that is looking to take the next step in their career with a Global Market leading company, looking for a combination of Sales and Management responsibilities. Previous experience of leading, coaching and managing a small sales team is key in order to be successful as a Sales Team Manager. Therefore experience of setting KPI's, targets and training sales people is essential.
The Role
The Sales Team Manager position is available as the current Sales Team Manager is starting a new sales team at one of the other International offices- therefore opportunities within this company for career progression are huge, for the right candidate! On a day to day basis, the Sales Team Manager can expect a combination of pitching to Senior Level decision makers within the Global Financial companies, selling Financial Online Information that provides intelligence and insights to assist with strategic business making decisions. This combined with managing, motivating and leading a sales team of 5 people and leading from the front and driving new business sales are expected in order to be successful as a Sales Team Manager. This role is a combination of managing a new business sales team that is office based and visiting clients within the EMEA region to achieve individual sales targets. You will be able to clearly demonstrate an understanding of Economic and Political factors that affect and influence the Global Capital Market and Corporate markets. The current team can demonstrate excellent sales achievements, an exceptional educational track record and are a high-achieving, career focused and tenacious in their sales approach.
